Loyal to the Client,

Not a Company

As a broker, I represent the interests of clients - first and always. I do not represent just one company because there is no one company that permanently has the best of everything. As health insurance rates and coverages change, I review the fine print to determine if my clients need to hear new comparisons. I never fear the competition because I represent them also.

April Update

In the U.S., there has been a continuous downgrade of Medicare Advantage products and an increase in cost, deductibles and co-pays.
While doing research in the Philippines for insurance services for American retirees (folks over age 65) living there, I have discovered how little there is to help even Filipinos in the Philippines over 65 from the government and almost no insurance companies want to insure ANYONE over 65 due to the increase of medical problems with that group.

It is great to be a senior citizen in America with the 80% government subsidy. All politics aside, the bottom line is whether you are a 60 year old American paying 100% of your medical insurance or an American over 65 in the Philippines, your cost for insurance, IF AVAILABLE, and financial risk for medical costs is outrageously higher than for those of you who have Medicare living in the U.S.

The insurance services I am now offering my clients will be expanded in the U.S. to include Final Expense insurance and annuities. I have done both previously, especially annuities. When the banks collapsed before I was born back in 1929 and 1930; the insurance companies did not. The legal requirements for reserves today is still far greater for insurance companies (annuities) than for banks. This is reason I will offer annuities to clients. The interest rate is similarly not impressive but the stability/safety is far greater.

Also, I will be working with Americans in the Philippines who, in a medical crisis, may not be in a position to fly back to America. If an American feels they must go to a hospital quickly in the Philippines without insurance coverage it is financially risky and unnecessary since there are reasonably priced plans that can save most of the cost. Knowing what hospital to go to is also an important consideration.

I am working closely with the International Medical Group for great packages of insurance for missionaries both short and long term.

For convenience I ask you to email me directly with your questions –  Sam@yourbestplan.net and I will get back to quickly by phone or email. Just give me your best contact options.
